Ginette's Family...

Another reason we moved to the country was to live closer to Ginette's family.  Her mother is from a large, close-knit family in the South of France, and family values are very important to her and to her children.

We are also deeply committed to our families, and we're so happy that Ginette's parents and her sister's family live in the town next door. In fact, we see them almost every Sunday! They can't wait for us to adopt a child (and the nephews are excited to have a new cousin to play with!)

Being French, Odette is a wonderful cook... Sharing long family meals is a tradition in her country and Odette has made sure to keep that custom going. Ginette and her sister, Nicole, love helping her out in the kitchen whenever they can.

Ginette's father, Ed, was a teacher and a football coach. So, as you might guess, he loves kids and is great with them... He really enjoys teaching and is a great story teller too! Needless to say, sports were important in the family, and Ed made sure that his kids were always running around outside (hiking, skiing, swimming, ice-fishing, and doing gymnastics in the yard).

As a former teacher, Ginette's father, Ed, really
loves educating and encouraging his grandsons!

Typically French, Ginette's mother, Odette, is very cheerful and has great "Joie de Vivre!". She is always smiling and is very quick to laugh.

Ginette, her mom and her sister's family love this
    local "Creperie"... C'est bon!

As you can see, Ginette gets her love of
      animals from her Dad.
